MD Economic Justice Hearing/Watch Party: Support HB1007
Lowe House Office Building 6 Bladen St, Annapolis, MDJewish tradition teaches that in a just world, all people — regardless of race, income, or zip code — would have what the Torah calls dei machsoro, resources sufficient for their needs. But here in Maryland, giant corporations and the very rich are hoarding so much wealth that many Black and brown Marylanders can’t afford housing, food, or childcare. We need to come together again to say that it’s time for everyone’s needs to be met, and for the wealthiest to pay their fair share.
