Postponed: Just Recovery Campaign Call

DC

Yesterday Chairman Mendelson moved to repeal a modest tax increase and instead cut funds to vital social services in the middle of a global pandemic and economic crisis. Our partners, including the organizers who were planning to present on tonight’s call, are calling for an action tonight in response to this shocking, undemocratic attempt to strip aid from DC families and excluded workers.

We are therefore postponing our Just Recovery DC campaign call.

Please email Zach Weinstein at zach@jufj.org for more information.

Make sure to check out our online action alert and guide for how to call and tweet at Council to make your voice heard. The links can be “Updates & Actions” on https://jufj.org/our-work/issue-campaigns/just-recovery-dc/
