Join the first meeting of JUFJ’s Tax and Budget Working Group on Sunday, February 21 from 4:30-6:00 PM to learn more about how we can leverage our collective power to create a more equitable budget and make sure everyone is paying their fair share.
Protect Our Homes Day
Join Renters United Maryland's lobby night for the 2021 Maryland General Assembly session. There will be a prep session with attendees and then, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, we will hear stories from Marylanders about housing instability before and during the pandemic, and learn about how RUM's Housing Justice legislative package can help. From 8:00 to 9:00 PM, we will divide up into breakout rooms by county so you can meet with your state legislators to ask them questions and encourage them to support this critical legislation.
