Protect Our Homes Day
Join Renters United Maryland's lobby night for the 2021 Maryland General Assembly session. There will be a prep session with attendees and then, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, we will hear stories from Marylanders about housing instability before and during the pandemic, and learn about how RUM's Housing Justice legislative package can help. From 8:00 to 9:00 PM, we will divide up into breakout rooms by county so you can meet with your state legislators to ask them questions and encourage them to support this critical legislation.
Housing Security Working Group February Meeting
Join the first meeting of JUFJ's Housing Security Working Group on Wednesday, February 24, 6:30-8:00 PM. We’ll talk about housing issues in DC, get to know other JUFJers, and gear up to work to reclaim rent control, prevent mass evictions, and fight for a budget that cares about getting and keeping people housed.
