Montgomery County Watch Party: Worksession for Bill 17-21

Join JUFJ for a virtual watch party of the worksession for Bill 17-21, which creates new training requirements for incoming police officers in Montgomery County. 

The watch party will start at 1 PM with a review of the bill, and we will begin screensharing the worksession at 1:30 PM.

Join the DC Initiative on Racial Equity for our next general meeting to provide feedback to the Office of Racial Equity, to change how the DC government engages the community.

Illuminating Justice: Issues For Working Families In The Legislative Session

Jews United For Justice, The Baltimore Jewish Council, and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Howard County are teaming up to shine light on some of the most pressing issues affecting working families in Maryland. Join us to learn from leaders in the movements for paid family and medical leave, and for renters' rights. Participants will learn about paid leave, eviction prevention, and how to get involved in the fight for a more just Maryland. Towards the end of the program we will come together as a community to light the menorah. This will take place on Zoom.
