Join JUFJers in your area (in person!) before we jump into preparing for the state legislative session! In addition to building relationships and schmoozing, we will be writing postcards to our neighbors inviting them to get involved. This event is family-friendly, and all are welcome!

Join JUFJ's Economic Justice Working Group! We work on leveraging our collective power to create a more equitable budget and make sure everyone is paying their fair share.
Join the Time to Care Coalition as we celebrate passage of legislation that establishes a paid leave program for Maryland workers. Once implemented, workers will be able to take up to 12 weeks of paid leave to welcome a new child, deal with a military deployment or care for a loved one.
Sound the Shofar for economic justice! DC domestic workers deserve the same workplace rights as all other workers. Join other JUFJers for an in-person action before Rosh Hashanah to remind the DC Council to pass the Domestic Worker Bill of Rights.
Canvass for Question “H” to put Baltimore police under the city’s control for the first time since the mid-1800s.
JUFJ honors the rhythms of the Jewish calendar and we incorporate into our work Jewish values of reflection, celebration, and taking time away from work for rest and renewal. To honor those values, JUFJ is closed for Rosh Hashanah.
Care about affordable housing in DC? Want to be part of a committed group advocating for all DC residents to have secure housing? Join JUFJ's Housing Security Working Group!
Join our coalition meeting for important information as we move into the implementation phase of Paid Family and Medical Leave. We will also review campaign updates.

This Sukkot, we're imagining a DC where everyone has access to housing and where we keep our planet safe and beautiful for everyone who lives on it — and we're fighting for that future! Join JUFJ, Sunrise DC, and Councilmember Janeese Lewis George (in a sukkah!) to learn more about the Green New Deal for Housing bill, and how you can help build a more sustainable, affordable DC.
Judaism’s ethic of mutual care calls us to hold police accountable to the people, which is why JUFJ and our partners have been calling to restore local control over the police in Baltimore — the only city in Maryland that doesn’t oversee its own police department — since 2018. Join us as we phone bank for Question “H” to put the Baltimore Police Department under the city’s control for the first time since the mid-1800s.
Join JUFJers from across Maryland to schmooze, celebrate Sukkot, and build community, with music and singing led by Cantor Rosalie Will. Whether you're just joining JUFJ's statewide work, or you've been involved for years, everyone is welcome! This event will be held in person at Columbia Jewish Congregation (5885 Robert Oliver Place, Columbia).
